A committee of students keeps DevSoc running. They plan the events and build the projects, and they teach the workshops in their spare time. Below is a proper introduction to who we are.
The Committee Lead
Efe Mario Ogboriavwien leads DevSoc. Mario is a founding member who shapes the society’s vision and coordinates committee activities. He drives core initiatives like projects, events, and industry engagement, and he keeps the team focused on practical, student-led learning.
The founding and technical core
Solomon Azowenu is a founding committee member who leads technical development on key projects, including the DevSoc website. He’s reliable and deeply technical, with a collaborative way of working.
Daniel Chukwu is a Computer Science student with strong technical skills. He’s a founding member and serves as DevSoc’s Open-Source and FSF Herald, championing the open-source movement and the Free Software Foundation philosophy within the society. He supports key projects like the DevSoc website and community workshops. He also has a keen interest in Product Design and Management, which he brings to the society’s work.
The creative and design leads
Daniella Chukwuwendu Ishicheli is DevSoc’s Creative Director. She’s a Computer Science student with a strong interest in UI/UX design. She leads the society’s visual direction, handling graphics and branding and keeping the creative identity consistent across platforms.
Fatima Bello Dikko is a Software Engineering student who designs the graphics behind DevSoc’s brand, events, and communications. Her visually engaging work keeps the society looking polished.
The builders and the backbone
Isichei Enoch Chukwuebuka, known as Code Dr, is a Software Engineering student on the development team. He builds technical solutions and teaches workshops, helping members turn theory into practical skills.
Godswill James is an active committee member who shows up consistently and engages deeply in discussions. He brings innovative ideas and helps push the society’s initiatives forward.
What drives us
Committee members wear several hats. Some organize, some build, and others teach and design. That mix of technical depth and community energy is what makes DevSoc a place where students learn by doing.
